This... Just... This. *is all over*
I can't wait for this! (And I'm really hoping it won't overlap with skit prep activities!) I've been hoping for a fanfiction panel since the first con I went to (which was last year's Animarathon) and now its here!!! Both my sister and I are really hoping this one will happen earlier in the day so we can make it! I actually just updated one of my many fanfics online so now super-psyched and ready for this panel to happen!
It's going to be a great panel. And I'm glad you're excited for it! I want to help people to better understand fanfiction and why people read it. Good fanfictions makes for good fanbases.
Exactly! The intelligence of the fanbase is partly shown in the fanfiction. Which is why I question Fruits Basket fandom (what I write for) sometimes. Therefore I must strive all the more to write decent fanfiction for it! *determined face* This is THE panel for next Saturday for me to go to. Thank you so much for putting it on!
PS- I'm not exactly a "bro" seeing as I'm a girl, but that's okay seeing as I hang out with guys anyway. *is not insulted*
Topic: An in depth breakdown of the design and animation style of animator/designer/director Takeshi Koike.
Panel Summary:
Let's discuss the career, influences, and artistic style of animator/designer/director Takeshi Koike. With anime's tendency towards stock visual design, animator's like Koike truly stand out. His visual sensibility conveys a genuine enthusiasm for 2D animation with exaggerated (but impeccably drawn) characters, dynamic movement and extreme perspective. Given the popularity of his directorial debut, REDLINE, Takeshi Koike is now a name to watch out for.
